Access to Peaks Prohibited
From Mar 2023 until further notice.
Access to specific areas of the Peaks National Park is currently prohibited.
This is due to concern over the impact of multiple plant pathogens that are affecting endemic tree species within the Peaks National Park.
The original restriction was installed in March 2023 and has now been extended until further notice whilst a report based on research conducted is being drawn.

The 1700nm (3,060km) ocean yacht race starting on the 26th December from Table Bay, Cape Town across the South Atlantic to St Helena.
First yacht usually arrives after 9-10 days. Event occurs every two years.
